It is reported that the Cai Family Ancient Literary House Complex was built during the reign of Emperor Zhengde of the Ming Dynasty. The architectural complex is highly artistic and reflects a profound cultural heritage, making it a representative of southern residential buildings during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
