“Recently, as flowers were blooming and the temperature was rising in spring, I chose a nice day and came to Yuyuantan Park in Beijing with my new equipment. Then I quietly joined the camp of senior photographers and achieved some results in my first attempt...” Recently, actor Li Xian shared his "bird photography work" on a social platform and was praised by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. The Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region called out on the Internet: "Welcome to Guangxi for 'bird photography'!"
It is learned that Guangxi boasts abundant ecological resources, with the number of bird species ranking third in the country. It is one of the provinces and autonomous regions in China with the richest biodiversity and serves as an important global migration route and wintering stopover for migratory birds. Currently, a total of 757 bird species have been recorded in Guangxi, among which there are 32 species of national first-class protected wild animals and 161 species of national second-class protected wild animals. In 2024, the Siberian White Crane, a national first-class protected wild animal, was observed in Guangxi for the first time. It is reported that the Siberian White Crane mainly exists as a migratory bird and a winter migrant in China, and there is no breeding population here. At present, the global population of the Siberian White Crane is less than 6,000.
