Recently, a joint event, organized by the Nanning Emergency Management Bureau, the Social Work Department of the CPC Nanning Municipal Committee, and the Nanning Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, kicked off the 2025 Volunteer Service Month of Learning from Lei Feng in Xinai Road, Xixiangtang District. During the event, volunteers offered 18 services, including emergency safety tips, policy advice, free health checks and anti-drug campaigns.

So far, Nanning has fostered multiple emergency rescue groups, with Nanning Emergency Psychological Rescue Volunteer Association (the Lan Dun Team) and Zhuang Xiao’an Center as excellent models. With over 3,000 registered volunteers, they effectively contribute to distress rescue, psychological support, missing person search, river patrols, drowning prevention, event safety, flood relief and forest fire fighting.
