Recently, Shanglin County Association for Science and Technology, in collaboration with Shanglin County People’s Hospital, conducted 2024 Emergency First Aid Training in Chachang Community of Dafeng Town, Shanglin County.

It is reported that during the event, doctors from Shanglin County People’s Hospital were invited to teach emergency first aid knowledge to the residents of Chachang Community. The instructors used specific cases to explain symptoms and prevention measures for heatstroke, as well as first aid measures for drowning incidents. They analyzed key points and common misconceptions about on-site rescue, and provided instructions on emergency first aid and the procedures of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). During the practical training session, the emergency department team from the hospital utilized human models to demonstrate and instruct participants in essential on-site emergency skills. The participants expressed that through the training, they have acquired basic emergency rescue skills and improved their ability for self-rescue and mutual aid.
