In recent days, Shanglin County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau has organized cooperation with departments including financial institutions and the county-level social security center to distribute and activate the third-generation social security cards, as well as to raise awareness about electronic social security cards in villages.
It is reported that residents filled out their information and activated the cards in an orderly manner under the guidance of staff. Bank clerks conducted online data collection, swiftly reviewed applications, and instantly produced cards to offer one-stop card issuance and activation services. And staff members from the bureau provided detailed explanations about the functions and usage of the third-generation social security cards, addressing residents’ concerns regarding the procedures for receiving pensions and medical expense reimbursements through the card on site. These efforts further enhanced public awareness and acceptance of social security card, enabling residents to conveniently receive and activate their third-generation social security cards at their homes, thereby ensuring the “last-mile” delivery of public service.
