It is announced that this year marks the year of China-ASEAN Year of People-to-People and Cultural Exchanges, and the 21st CAEXPO will feature the inaugural China-ASEAN People-to-People Exchange Pavilion. This pavilion will showcase vivid examples of exchanges and cooperation in the people-to-people and cultural sector between China and ASEAN, making attendees from both sides engage in a meaningful cross-cultural experience and foster new collaborative achievements.

It is learned that since 2005, the CAEXPO has launched the theme of "Cities of Charm", whereby China and the 10 ASEAN countries select representative cities to exhibit, host themed activities, and conduct related people-to-people and cultural exchange events. Over the past 20 years, "Cities of Charm" has highlighted the accomplishments of exchanges and cooperation in trade, investment, technology, and various other fields between China and ASEAN countries. This initiative has become a hallmark of the CAEXPO, promoting communication and understanding between the people of both sides and laying a solid foundation for strengthening ties between China and ASEAN countries.
