Recently, the China-ASEAN Expo Secretariat and Alibaba Group jointly held the launching ceremony of the online platform for the 17th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO). On the launching ceremony, the slogan of the online platform for CAEXPO was announced: Share CAEXPO on Cloud for a New Chapter in the Digital and Smart Silk Road.

It is reported that the 17th CAEXPO features three highlights: first, to create a new platform for high-level dialogue on "cloud diplomacy" in politics; second, to cultivate new growth points for China-ASEAN cooperation in economy and trade; third, to exploit a cloud "Nanning channel" in multi-field cooperation. The 17th CAEXPO will, for the first time, adopt the mode of "physical exhibition + online exhibition" to provide free online display, negotiation and conference, live promotion and cross-border e-commerce for enterprises both at home or abroad. Meanwhile, the online docking meeting of cross-border procurement, cyber influential sales live broadcast, ASEAN product promotion meeting and other trade and investment promotion activities will also be held. In addition, the opening ceremony of the 17th CAEXPO will be broadcast by live streaming in multiple languages on the online platform, and viewers from China and ASEAN countries can log in to the online platform for CAEXPO on mobile phones and computers.
