Recently, Yongcheng Public Transportation Company of Nanning Public Transportation Group has optimized and adjusted several bus routes, including Bus No. 805, effective September 1. Notably, five of these buses will implement a "responsive stopping" operating mode. Furthermore, new subtitles will be introduced for Tourist Bus No. 1 and Tourist Bus No. 2, along with Bus No. B48. Additionally, eight other buses, including Bus No. 20, will see the addition of new stops.
It is learned that under the "responsive stopping" mode, bus drivers will check if there are passengers waiting on the upcoming stop. If not, they will use voice announcements and LED screens to keep passengers informed. If no one presses the stop button or signals verbally to disembark, the drivers may reduce the bus's speed to below 15 km/h and proceed past the stop without stopping. Buses operating in this mode will prominently display reminders about the "responsive stopping" mode inside the vehicle, and a stop button will be installed on the pole at the rear door.
