In a recent effort to expedite the allocation of public rental housing resources and facilitate public participation in registration and selection processes, Nanning Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau has issued “The Notice on the Implementation of a 24-hour Registration System for Public Rental Housing in Nanning” (hereinafter referred to as “The Notice”). This initiative will commence at 9:00 on May 20, 2024.

As per “The Notice”, the registration is open to families and individuals who have qualified for public rental housing in Nanning but have not yet been allocated with rental housing (referred to as "waiting families"). Prospective tenants can register through the WeChat official accounts of “Nanning Housing and Urban-Rural Development” and “Home in Nanning”, as well as other online platforms. Each family is permitted to register for one housing complex and one housing type and is allowed to edit or withdraw registration information. In the event of any changes to the qualification status of waiting families, their registration ranking will be automatically canceled, and a re-registration process is required.
