It has recently been revealed that, by the end of June this year, Guangxi had included 200 new medical service items in health insurance reimbursement. These included percutaneous puncture nerve trunk injections, hydrotubation, and the use of neonatal incubators. Additionally, the reimbursement rates for 712 existing medical service items were increased, while the prices for 1,001 medical services were dynamically adjusted.
It is reported that currently, in Guangxi, there are 782 types of drugs and 79 categories of medical consumables that have been procured in bulk. These represented the increases of 274 types and 27 categories since March 31, marking the growth rates of 53.9% and 51.9% respectively, which have contributed to an average price reduction of 50%. It is estimated that in 2024, the medical burden on the public will decrease by 20 billion yuan. By the end of June, the number of individuals participating in basic health insurance in the region had reached 51.02 million, maintaining a stable participating rate of over 97%.
