In commemoration of the 66th Anniversary of Comrade Mao Zedong's Winter Swimming in the Yongjiang River, the 2024 Nanning Winter Swimming in the Yongjiang River will be held on New Year's Day of 2024. The starting point will be the hydrophilic platform near the Changyou Pavilion on the north bank of the Yongjiang River, and the ending point will be on the south bank of the Yongjiang River. It is expected that 3000 swimming enthusiasts will participate in this event.

From November 19th to December 25th, a series of dance events, including the Break Dance Competition, the Minzu Square Dance Competition, and the China-ASEAN Sports Dance Invitational, will be held in Nanning.

The 2023 Nanning LYB Global Amateur Badminton Championships will kick off in Nanning from December 8th to 10th.
