Recently, it was announced that Nanning plans to host a carnival themed with "Water Sports on the Yongjiang River" in October at the Yongjiang Minsheng Wharf. The carnival will include three main activities, namely the China-ASEAN International Paddleboard Open, the Recreational Water Sports Challenge, and a Water Theme Activity.

Among them, the China-ASEAN International Paddleboard Open set three groups, namely the Master Group, the Open Group, and the Green City Group, with an expected participation of around 300 athletes from ASEAN countries and China. The Recreational Water Sports Challenge will set the Professional Group and the Open Group, and approximately 500 outdoor sports enthusiasts from across the country will be invited. The Water Theme Activity, spanning three days, will feature a Yongjiang River Photography Exhibition, water sports such as kayaking, power boarding and SUP boarding, and water-based performances including riverside light shows, paddleboard yoga and power board demonstrations, providing an immersive interactive experience for participants.
