Recently, Nanning sold a sports-use land plot of 20.212 mu. The final bid was won by Guangxi Jiatianxia Culture and Sports Co., Ltd., with a total transaction price of 33.552576 million yuan and a transaction price of 1.66 million yuan/mu.

The construction requirements of this plot include building a comprehensive sports stadium positioned as a tennis center, and committing to creating a multi-functional comprehensive sports stadium. It will introduce and host professional tennis and fencing events in but not limited to China, and hold a series of youth tennis and fencing events of at the autonomous region level or above at least once a year. It will also establish sports venues themed on but are not limited to badminton and table tennis according to the main sports event standards, and introduce at least one world champion club (badminton or table tennis). After the comprehensive sports stadium is completed and put into use, residents in the area will have another sports and leisure destination.
