Recently, Guangxi Overseas Chinese School held its opening ceremony for international students for the 2024 fall semester, along with the awards ceremony for the outstanding students in the 2023–2024 spring semester in Nanning. International students from countries like Vietnam, Thailand, and Laos gathered together to start their new lives in Guangxi.

It’s noted that Guangxi Overseas Chinese School is one of the five overseas Chinese schools in China and one of the first Chinese language education bases in the country. It is also the only school in Guangxi offering high school education for overseas students. Since it began providing high school education for international students in 2007, the school has cultivated nearly 900 international students. After completing their high school studies, these students have successfully passed the HSK Level 5 and Level 6, making them continue their education at top universities in China. As a result, they have gradually become friendly ambassadors with a deep understanding and love for China, promoting cultural and economic exchanges between China and foreign countries.
