The Executive Meeting of the State Council held recently has decided to extend to the central and western areas and the northeast area by building a batch of new cross-border e-commerce comprehensive experimental zones in 22 cities including Nanning. This will push forward the development of cross-border e-commerce industry in Nanning.
Nanning has become one city in the first batch of 21 e-commerce demonstration cities in China since 2011. In 2014, it was approved to launch pilot project on cross-border e-commerce retail export, and now it was selected as the National Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Experimental Zone. It will continuously upgrade the “Nanning Channel” and improve the online and offline platforms for cross-border e-commerce. In the first half of 2018, the city has completed a total of over 1.357 million orders in integrated inbound and outbound businesses involving an integrated import and export value of approximately USD9.17 million, of which the export value is about USD7.34 million.
