It was recently learned from Nanning Municipal Natural Resources Bureau that “The Traffic Connection Plan of Metro Line 5 (Phase I) Project (Nahong-Jinqiao Passenger Station)” (“The Plan”, for short) was approved by Nanning Municipal People’s Government after on-site investigation and expert review.
It is learned that “The Plan” is formulated on the basis of the overall urban planning, comprehensive transportation planning and relevant special planning, closely focusing on the land use range of 1-2 km around 17 stations of Metro Line 5 (Phase I) Project (Nahong-Jinqiao Passenger Station). By analyzing the traffic operation characteristics, traffic network structure and facility supply capacity in the region, and selecting the transfer connection mode that fits the characteristics of Nanning and the land development along the rail, it puts forward the network and facility layout scheme to meet the integrated organization of various connection modes of rail transit, so as to provide strong support for rail transit to gather passenger flow and optimize travel structure.
