Recently, in order to improve the ability and level of leaders and cadres in the city to serve and promote the construction of RCEP Free Trade Zone, promote the construction of a high-quality RCEP demonstration area, a seminar on RCEP was held by the Party leadership group of Nanning Municipal People’s Government.

It is learned that Jiang Zhihuan, Director of the Tariff Department of Nanning Customs, was invited to give a lecture on the relevant knowledge of the RCEP Agreement, a comprehensive and detailed introduction about the construction of the RCEP Free Trade Zone and the RCEP Agreement, and the RCEP tariff concessions and rules of origin. He also put forward constructive opinions and suggestions on the construction of a RCEP demonstration area in Guangxi, especially the construction of a high-quality RCEP demonstration area in Nanning. All departments at all levels in the city should earnestly seize the great opportunity of the formal entry into force and implementation of the RCEP Agreement, promote the continuous optimization of industrial resource allocation and industrial layout in Nanning, continue to develop the cross-border industrial chain with distinctive advantages, further give play to the leading role of Nanning in the all-round opening-up and development of the whole Guangxi, and strive for greater achievements in serving and integrating Nanning into the new development pattern.
