Survey data indicated that in June 2024, Nanning's consumer price index (CPI) decreased by 0.2% month on month. The month-on-month decrease remained the same with the decrease of both national and regional average rates.

It is reported that the prices of eight categories of goods and services showed a "two-up, four-down and two-unchanged" trend. Prices for food, tobacco and alcohol, and clothing rose by 0.5% and 0.1%, respectively. In contrast, prices for transportation and communication, other goods and services, education and entertainment, and household goods and services fell by 1.8%, 1.4%, 0.5%, and 0.2%, respectively, while prices for medical care and housing remained unchanged.
