By the end of 2023, the total number of traditional Chinese medicine medical institutions in the city has reached 639. There were 16,400 employees in traditional Chinese medicine medical and health institutions, accounting for 14.52% of the total number in the city. The number of beds in traditional Chinese medicine medical institutions in the city was 13,400 (Note: including clinical departments of traditional Chinese medicine in non-traditional Chinese medicine medical institutions), accounting for 19.86% of the total number in the city.

Traditional Chinese medicine services

In 2023, the city's medical institutions provided 9.354 million outpatient services of traditional Chinese medicine, accounting for 18.03% of the total number of consultations (excluding village clinics). The total number of outpatient services of traditional Chinese medicine decreased by 0.04 percentage point in the city, compared with that of the previous year.

The number of inpatient services of traditional Chinese medicine in medical institutions in the city has reached 430,600, an increase of 18.09% over that of the previous year, accounting for 18.35% of the total number in the city.
