Quantity of diagnosis and treatment: in 2023, the total number of people that acquired diagnosis and treatment in the city's medical institutions has reached 54,348,300, an increase of 3.75% over that of the previous year.

Quantity of inpatient: in 2023, the number of patients that discharged from medical institutions in the city's jurisdiction has reached 2,347,000, an increase of 18.05% over that of the previous year.

Distribution of medical services

Based on affiliation, the total numbers of patients to medical institutions at the autonomous-region level, city level, and county (district) level and below (including private hospitals, primary medical institutions, etc.) were 16.0922 million, 7.4168 million, and 30.8393 million, accounting for 29.61%, 13.65%, and 56.74%, respectively (29.56%, 14.19%, and 56.24%, respectively, in 2022); the numbers of patients that have discharged from the hospitals were 783,000, 390,200, and 1.1738 million, accounting for 33.36%, 16.62%, and 50.01%, respectively (34.33%, 17.29%, and 48.38%, respectively, in 2022).
