Number of medical and health institutions

By the end of 2023, there were 5,157 medical and health institutions in the city. Compared with that of the previous year, the total number of institutions has increased by 66, up by 1.30%. There were 20 tertiary medical institutions (including hospitals, maternal and child health hospitals, and specialized disease prevention and treatment hospitals) in the city, which is the same as that of the previous year.

Number of beds in medical institutions

As of the end of 2023, the city's medical institutions actually had 67,300 inpatient beds available. Compared with that of the previous year, the total number of beds has increased by 4,000, up by 6.35%. Based on the statistics of permanent population, there were 7.52 beds per thousand people, an increase of 0.41 beds over that of the previous year.
