It’s a story that happened in Songjiangfu Prefecture in Jiangnan (regions south of the Yangtze River) in the middle of the Ming Dynasty. Long Qingyun, the magistrate of Pingwu County in Sichuan, resigned and retired because he was tired of the darkness of officialdom. He and his daughter Long Miaomiao, private assistant Zhuge Congming, constable Lei Zhenshan, yamen runner Liu Hu and others to return to his hometown, Wulong Town, Songjiangfu Prefecture. They bought a close-down theater and turned it into an inn. Due to the negligence of the waiter nicknamed “fat tiger”, the customized plaque of Five Dragons Inn was made into Wulong Inn, but everyone decided to use this as the name of the inn, over shoes over boots. Long Qingyun kindly took in a homeless young man suffering from amnesia, who was given a nickname by Long Miaomiao as “little fish”. A lot of funny things happened because they didn’t know how to run an inn. With concerted efforts, the operation of the inn gradually stepped onto the right track. And the people got so close to each other that they were almost like a family and presented to the audience warm and moving stories in the inn. However, with the emergence of a mysterious figure, three mysterious organizations came to the inn, and shocking events occurred one after another, attracting the martial forces of all corners of the country. For a time, the undercurrent of Wulong Town surged, and the Wulong Inn was on the edge. At the critical moment, “little fish” got his memory back and stood out, leading the people to turn around the situation with the help of a mysterious force, resolved the crisis of Wulong Inn and Wulong Town, restored the peace, and harvested Long Miaomiao’s love.
