Recently, it was learned from Nanning Human Resources and Social Security Bureau that Nanning will comprehensively promote the use of social security cards for pension payment as of October 2021.
It is understood that retirees who have newly applied for pension benefits shall use their social security cards for pension payment as of October 2021; retirees who have received pensions, without special circumstances, will be changed to receive pensions through social security cards before the end of 2021 in principle. There are two ways to change the social security card to receive pension insurance benefits: handling by one’s unit and handling by oneself. During the period of changing the social security card to receive the pension insurance benefits, the payment of the pension insurance benefits will not be affected, so retirees are requested not to get together to handle it. In addition, using social security cards to withdraw money across banks and regions at ATMs and transfer money through mobile banking are free of handling charges, and there is a free SMS reminder of changes in account amount. Therefore, there is no need to change the bank to which the original social security card belongs in unnecessary circumstances.
