Recently, Guangxi Food Carnival (Season II) as part of the 2021 Guangxi “33 Consumption Festival” was launched in Nanning, with a series of activities to be carried out from early June to the end of July. It is expected to increase food and beverage consumption by more than 30%.
It is understood that this event will encourage enterprises to increase the excavation, innovation and application of local food materials in Guangxi. The event aims to highlight national and regional characteristics, upgrade the inheritance and innovation of traditional cooking techniques of Guangxi cuisine, develop no less than 100 kinds of special dishes, select 40 courses of new “Guangxi cuisine” and 100 famous “Guangxi cuisine” restaurants, and promote the in-depth cooperation between key catering enterprises and agricultural cooperatives, so as to further expand catering consumption. The event will enable consumers to enjoy the delicacy of Guangxi cuisine and the historical culture behind it, and continue to promote the transformation and upgrading of the catering industry in Guangxi.
