Recently, it is learned from Nanning International Railway Port Development and Operation Co., Ltd. that the construction of the main building of the customs supervision work site of the port logistics park, which works as one of the core functional areas of the railway port, will be completed by the end of this year. It will be put into operation officially after the technology platform equipment used by the customs have been installed and commissioned and the business license has been granted.
According to Tang Jinlian, director and deputy general manager of Nanning International Railway Port Development and Operation Co., Ltd., the port logistics park consists of the customs supervision work site along with the bonded warehouses (export supervised warehouses) and modern integrated logistics park (Phase I of GLP Hidden Hill ASEAN Supply Chain Base), covering an area of about 800 mu, with a total investment of about 1.2 billion yuan. The export supervision warehouse is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of August next year, while the modern integrated logistics park is expected to complete the land supply by the end of June next year and be completed and put into use in 2022.
