In the first three quarters, the added value of the service industry in Nanning increased by 2.2% year on year. Specifically, the for-profit service industry grew by 4.8%, the wholesale and retail industry grew by 4.1%, the financial industry grew by 3.8%, the accommodation and catering industry grew by 3.4%, transportation, warehousing, and postal services grew by 2.5%, and the non-profit service industry grew by 2.0%.

From January to August, the operating income of other for-profit service industries above designated size in Nanning increased by 11.2% year on year. Among them, the revenue of sci-tech popularization and application services, business services, software and information technology services, and professional technical services increased by 23.2%, 16.8%, 10.1%, and 4.9% respectively.
