In the first three quarters, Nanning vigorously implemented the action plan to improve and expand consumption, adopted multiple measures to stimulate domestic demand and promote consumption, held various consumer activities with different themes such as "Enjoy Sanyuesan Festival, Shop in Nanning", "Colorful Summer, Shop in Nanning", and the trade-in of old cars and home appliances, effectively promoting the continuous recovery of consumption in the city. In terms of product categories, some goods showed strong sales growth. In the retail sales of goods by units above designated size, the retail sales of beverages increased by 59.8% year on year, the retail sales of books and magazines increased by 34.4%, the retail sales of communication equipment increased by 22.2%, and the retail sales of sports and entertainment products increased by 16.1%.
