On March 18, 2005, Nanning City adjusted some administrative areas and set up Liangqing District. At present, Liangqing District administers 5 towns of Liangqing, Nama, Datang, Nanxiao and Nachen, 2 streets of Dashatian and Yudong, and Guangxi Liangqing Economic Development Zone (provincial-level development zone), with a total of 57 administrative villages and 10 urban communities.
