Recently, as the current epidemic prevention and control continues to improve and the night economy recovers, the night tour project of Yongjiang River, which is popular with the citizens and tourists, has been officially resumed after 63 days of suspension.
On the first day of resumption, Nanning Maritime Safety Administration dispatched law enforcement personnel to conduct safety inspections on the two restored tourist ships, strictly inspecting the maintenance of machinery and equipment and the crew’s ability to perform duties, and strengthening the safety education of personnel on board. During the tourist ship’s navigation, the sea cruiser escorts the whole journey to ensure that the tourist ship leaves and arrives at the docks safely. With the combination of electronic cruise, video surveillance and other methods were adopted to comprehensively strengthen the monitoring of the water area of the tourist ship’s navigation line, so as to promptly warn the tourist ship through VHF once abnormality is found. At present, the water passenger flow in the areas under Nanning’s jurisdiction is gradually returning to the normal level in previous years. The maritime department will continue to follow up to give guidance and provide convenience for shipping companies to resume work and output, so as to ensure the smooth work of epidemic prevention and control and the safety of ship navigation.
