Dalong Lake


Dalong Lake is a national 4A-level tourist area, located in the northwest of Shanglin County at the eastern foot of Daming Mountain. Dalong Lake Scenic Area is composed of Dalong Lake and Dalong Cave. Among them, Dalong Lake is a man-made alpine plain lake formed by storing groundwater in 1958. The total length of the reservoir area is 17 kilometers, with a total storage capacity of 151 million cubic meters, an effective storage capacity of 108 million cubic meters, and a flood control storage capacity of 43 million cubic meters. There are 560 hectares (8,400 mu) on the water surface and the depth is 182.14 meters. It is one of the top ten lava reservoirs in the country and is known as the “Ha Long Bay in China”.

Dalong Lake Scenic Area is surrounded by green hills, and the peaks stand tall. The lake is clear and sparkling, and mountains and islands are scattered all over here. Green water, green hills and blue sky are all in one. It is famous for its majestic mountains and beautiful water, surrounded by rocky peaks, with water in the mountains and mountains in the water. The cave is 3 kilometers in length and has 12 halls of different sizes. The largest hall is 648 meters long, 55 meters wide and 58 meters high, and it can accommodate more than 10,000 people. The Dalong Cave is characterized by holes in the cave and sky in the cave.
