Recently, the Agricultural Water Conservancy Station of Baihe Town, Hengzhou City of Nanning has gone deep into various villages to carry out diversified training on agricultural practical techniques such as crop planting, pest control and rodent control, in order to protect spring ploughing and ensure food security.
It is understood that since March of this year, more than 10 agricultural technicians have been organized by the station to go deep into the fields of 28 villages (communities) on the basis of actual conditions. Focusing on the contents of cultivated land consolidation, seed selection and sowing, weeding and insect control, they made comprehensive explanations in popular and easy-to-understand language, gave advice and suggestions for agricultural production, and conducted operation demonstration in the field at the same time. With the combination of “theoretical explanation" and "field class”, they enabled the farmers to better understand and apply agricultural techniques. Up to now, Baihe Town has carried out 32 training sessions on agricultural techniques in various forms, benefiting more than 10,000 farmers.
