Recently, in order to make full use of friendship cities' resources to serve the upgrading and development of China-Asean Expo, and to continue to build a cooperation platform of "Friendship Cities + Economy and Trade", this year, Guangxi will continue to hold the theme event of "Guangxi International Friendship Cities Entering the China-ASEAN Expo". So far, the preparatory work for the exhibition area has been progressing smoothly, and more than 20 friendship cities from 12 countries including Cambodia, Malaysia and Thailand in five continents have been confirmed to participate in this event.

It is reported that covering nearly 600 square meters, including Nanning’s friendship city exhibition area, the "Charming City" theme exhibition area of Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City, and South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal exhibition area, this year's friendship city exhibition area will focus on the exhibits and images of more than 20 international friendship cities of Guangxi. Exhibits will include specialty food, beverages, daily chemicals, etc., with more than 1.200 items in more than 60 categories, and there will be tasting links for some specialty foods. The main exhibition area has carefully designed a number of photo-taken points including friendship city signs and good friends & good products market for the audience.
