On November 17, the CPC Nanning Committee held a mobilization meeting on evaluating the employment and reemployment project. To evaluate the project, the CPC Nanning Committee decided to set up an evaluation work group to conduct an investigation on the implementation of the employment and reemployment project, one of the 20 projects set by the municipal government to bring tangible benefits to the people for the year 2009, from late November to late December this year. Mr. Lai Guishou, vice chairman of NPC Nanning Committee, and Vice Mayor Wu Wei attended the meeting.

The main goals of the employment and reemployment project are: Setting up the Start-up Funds to help the returning migrant workers to start a small business and get employed; creating 60,000 new jobs; transferring rural labor force employment of 90,000 people; conducting professional skill training for 50,000 people from rural areas, and enterprising training for 5,000 people; and realizing a financial input of 80 million yuan.

The evaluation work group will make field investigations on the implementation of the project in Binyang County, Shanglin County, Qinxiu District and Xixiangtang District. After the investigation, they will deliver an investigation report to the Standing Committee of the NPC Nanning Committee based on their field work investigation.
