The predecessor of Guangxi Shiru Tea Co., Ltd was Nanning Flower Tea Plant of Guangxi Local Food Corporation founded in 1985, which produced jasmine tea, green and black tea. The plant was converted into Guangxi Shiru Tea Co., Ltd. in 1998.
In the year of 2006, the company produced 1500 tons of jasmine tea, about 500 tons of green and black tea, Wulong tea and Liubao tea with a total sales volume of 30 million yuan. This made it stay at the top and the leading place of Guangxi.
Having a group of specialties with high quality as its administrative team, the company has four people with master degree, 20 with bachelor’s degree and 12 with associate degree, accounting for 56% of the staff. Among them three have senior professional titles, 14 with intermediate ones and 10 with the primary titles.
There are 13 main shareholders in the company and the biggest one is the staff’s share-holding congress, taking up 48% of the total 9.3 million shares. The other shareholders are composed of suppliers and sales agents from the provinces of Yunnan, Fujian, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Shanxi, etc. which has made a complete production chain. The company has carried out an active growing strategy and made tea material production bases in Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou Hubei and Fujian. Among them, 3800 mu of organic tea production base has been built in Lvzai County of Guangxi and 2000 mu of jasmine base and a 5000m2 processing plant in Binyang County.
By using the advanced production assembly line for manufacturing, the company implements mechanical production for every stage from planting to packaging. They have a complete inner quality control system and the ISO2001 certificate to ensure the quality of the products. From 1990 to 2006, the “Shiru” Jasmine Tea won a high reputation for the famous-brand products of Guangxi and it is also a well-known brand in China.
