Centering on the concept of scientific development and the theme of giving prominence to gaining more programs and promoting development, Xingning District has made greater efforts to boost the domestic demands and invest more in key fields of economic and social development. For the first five months, the investment in fixed assets reached 1.314 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 50.58%. Of this total, the investment in basic construction was 697 million yuan, surging 134.31% over last year; and the investment in renovation and transformation was 218 million yuan, up 62.64%.
