On November 19, the 1st Health Care Tourism Festival, one of the events of Nanning Monthly Tourism Festival, was kicked off at Jiuquwan Hot Spring Holiday Resort. The event will last from November 19 to 22. Present at the kick-off ceremony were Lu Bing, Vice-Chairman of NPC Ethnic Affairs Committee and former Governor of Guangxi, Jiang Jixiong, Vice Chairman of Guangxi Political Consultative Conference, Pan Hejun, Deputy Mayor of Nanning, Tang Jiwu, Vice Chairman of Nanning Political Consultative Conference and Li Silong, Vice Chairman of Nanning Political Consultative Conference.
At the ceremony, many participants gathered at Buluotuo Square of Jiuquwan Hot Spring Holiday Resort and enjoyed fantastic artistic performances. A number of Guangxi’s well-known calligraphers and painters showed their artistic talents in Chinese calligraphic writing and traditional Chinese painting. On the same day, the Holiday Resort was signed as a research and teaching base of Guangxi Chinese Traditional Medical University and was officially announced as a base of artistic creation in painting and calligraphy in Guangxi.
During the festival, tourists can enjoy health care food shows, watch special art performances and attend traditional health care lectures. Since it was designated as a National 4A tourist resort in 2006, Jiuquwan Hot Spring Holiday Resort has endeavored to improve its facilities and services. Now it has become a best tourist resort that integrates tourism, entertainment and health care.
