The China-Singapore Nanning International Logistics Park is under fast construction recently. It is a key park for the autonomous region to construct as per the overall planning and also one of the key projects for Guangxi to promote the construction of new land and sea channel in the west. Singapore Pacific International Lines plans to invest more than 13 billion yuan to build the project into a platform and important node for China-Singapore cooperative smart logistics supply chain. Singapore is the third largest trading partner of Guangxi in ASEAN countries. The construction of the China-Singapore Nanning International Logistics Park will expand the depth and breadth of regional cooperation and further enhance the economic and trade cooperation between Guangxi and Singapore and even other ASEAN countries.
It is known that the logistics park project is set in Liangqing District of Nanning City with a total land area of 4,237 mu. According to the planning, the project is divided into three phases for development and construction. The construction land is parted into bonded processing zone, supporting industrial zone and smart logistics zone. Up to now, the first phase, the introduction of key projects, has been fully started. The China-Singapore Smart Park project has been under construction in October, 2018 and is expected to be completed in September, 2019. The China (Nanning) Cross-border E-Commerce Comprehensive Experimental Zone has been officially opened for operation in December, 2018.
