According to the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region lately, the 1st Intangible Cultural Heritage Shopping Festival of Guangxi in 2020 was officially launched in Shanghai Expo Guangxi Pavilion of Guangxi Planning Exhibition Hall on June 6. During the 20-day festival, over 300 intangible cultural heritage stores of Guangxi will meet their customers online, selling more than 500 items of theme products, accompanied by a variety of offline activities.
In particular, "Guirenli", a well-known tourist goods brand in Guangxi, will consign its products to agents for joining in the online sale. The brand has also opened a Taobao store - Bestsellers in the Intangible Cultural Heritage Shopping Festival of Guangxi, so as to help establish the shopping festival as a permanent one. Meanwhile, museums, intangible cultural heritage protection centers and some cultural blocks will also hold offline activities. Through showcasing and selling intangible cultural heritage products and local cultural and creative products such as traditional handcrafts and traditional foods, the festival upholds healthy lifestyles, boosts culture and tourism consumption, and facilitates the revival of Guangxi's culture and tourism market.
