Recently, according to the Liangqing District Education Bureau, Liangqing District has fully implemented the strategy of strengthening the capital, and has made remarkable progress in serving the construction of Wuxiang New District and the Nanning Area of China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone, investing more resources in preschool education, and managing the kindergartens in communities in both urban and rural areas.
Liangqing District attached great importance to the inclusive welfare of the community-based kindergartens, and took kindergartens as the major way to provide more resources to affordable preschool education. The district adhered to the following three strategies, namely managing community-based kindergartens, increasing the admission rate of public kindergartens, and cleaning up unlicensed kindergartens, and drew up unified criteria for the decoration of kindergartens to ensure the smooth acceptance of decoration in kindergartens. In 2019, Liangqing District put five kindergartens in order, took over five and added 1,620 new vacancies, covering 77.3% of children. In 2020, the district plans to launch ten new kindergartens (among which seven are kindergartens in the communities) with 3,540 new vacancies for children.
