During the “San Yue San” (March 3rd in Chinese lunar calendar) Festival, the number of passengers in Nanning’s key event venues will increase. To this end, Nanning encourages bus companies to flexibly arrange their routes according to the actual situation to meet the public’s travel demand.
As the festival is approaching, Nanning will focus on ensuring adequate transportation capacity for key sites and hot spots, and better serve the public through the use of intelligent information technology. In view of the travel demand in scenic spots, Nanning encourages bus companies to flexibly arrange their routes travelling via scenic spots, like Qingxiu Mountain, Guangxi Museum of Nationalities, Nanhu Park, Minge Lake, Beautiful South, Jinsha Lake and Longmen Water City according to the actual situation, thus providing convenient and high-quality services.
In addition, according to the number of passengers arriving at the railway station, bus routes will be increased and service hours will be extended so as to ensure timely arrival and safe evacuation.
For the metro commutes, the interval between 7:30 to 9:00 (the morning rush hour) on the Metro Line 1 and 17:30 to 19:30 (the evening peak) will be adjusted from 5 minutes and 30 seconds to 5 minutes from March 30th. Intervals remain the same as 7 minutes at other time.
