Recently, in Bayang Village, a poverty alleviation relocation area in Long’an County of Nanning City, one can see that each household is equipped with a one-storey house built with bricks and concrete based on the number of household members. These houses are equipped with kitchens and toilets, with full access to water, roads, network and power supply. In addition, in front of and behind these houses, there are plots reserved for planting vegetables, along with a breeding room of 20 square meters.
It is understood that, based on the features and resources of different relocation areas, Nanning has defined its focus of development and the implementation path to carry out policies, culture and develop follow-up industries. In the meantime, it has launched specific projects to help the relocated people with working capacity to find jobs and receive more targeted job training and take multiple measures to provide them with more job opportunities. In addition, Nanning has also strived to further improve the infrastructure, schools, hospitals and other service facilities in the relocation areas so as to satisfy the relocated people’s needs to pursue a better living and production.
