It was recently learned that at the press briefing of the 17th China-ASEAN Expo, the Ministry of Commerce said that the Expo would be more innovative with higher standard, serving the construction of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and taking China-ASEAN cooperation and development to the next level.
According to reports, the current Expo invited 84 domestic and foreign procurement and investment groups to attend, organizing overseas merchants through 19 channels of ASEAN countries and 10 channels of countries outside the region to carry out online procurement negotiations with Chinese enterprises for the first time. At the same time, 23 provinces and cities in China organized nearly 30,000 professional visitors to participate in negotiations. In addition, the 17th China-ASEAN Expo highlighted cooperation in important sectors for this purpose, boosting China-ASEAN cooperation in multiple fields, such as the first overall demonstration of China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the first establishment of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Cooperation Exhibition Area.
