In recent years, Nanning has paid close attention to projects to improve people's livelihood. In 2018, Nanning has focused on ten projects, among which the projects to benefit citizens’ healthcare include the financial aid project, the standardized construction of community health service centers, the project to improve first aid systems for grass-root healthcare institutions, and the second-phase project of smart health information engineering. At present, these projects have been fully completed, enabling Nanning to build a more efficient medical service system.
Specifically, Nanning has completed the upgrading and renovation of twenty emergency rooms, purchased and distributed twenty ambulances and other first aid equipment, and strengthened the construction of the pre-hospital emergency system. Nanning Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission has also dispatched 120 cadre members who were divided into three batches in healthcare system to the Nanning Emergency Medical Center, the First People's Hospital of Nanning and the Second People's Hospital of Nanning for the forty-day training themed at improving first-aid skills and enhancing medical teams' ability.
