Recently, on the bustling site of the forest slope land in Xinyang Village, Guling Town, Mashan County, Nanning, workers were digging pits to prepare for afforestation. According to the owner of the afforestation project, there is 1,380 mu of forest land in this area. 150,000 plants of No.28 Eucalyptus urophylla seedlings have been ordered from Guangxi Bagui Tree and Flower Seedlings Co., Ltd. for the coming afforestation.
It is reported that according to the work deployment in the first quarter of 2021 of the CPC Mashan County Committee, Mashan County People’s Government and the Nanning Municipal Forestry Bureau, the Forestry Bureau of Mashan County accurately analyzed the annual tasks and work direction, organized forestry technical personnel to go deep into the forest land, forest related cooperatives, major forest related households, etc., and mobilized and guided the forest related personnel to actively carry out afforestation and farming preparation. It was estimated that afforestation alone can create more than 2.5 million yuan of social benefits for the first quarter and provide employment opportunities for more than 500 people.
