Recently, Nanning Blood Center went to Guangxi-ASEAN Economic and Technological Development Zone to launch voluntary blood donation activity and citizens registered for participation actively.
On the activity site, the citizens wore masks and measured body temperatures to implement the measures for epidemic prevention under the guidance of working personnel of the blood center. They cooperated with the medical personnel to register and fill the forms, measure blood pressure and take blood samples for test actively. Apart from all these, the people’s hospital in the development zone called for all medical staff to take part in the voluntary blood donation activity. The information attracted more than 60 medical personnel to participate. According to He Jinwei, the vice-president of the Red Heart Service Team in Nanning, although the weather was cold, citizens were enthusiastic in blood donation in Guangxi-ASEAN Economic and Technological Development Zone. According to statistics, there were 136 citizens participated in the blood donation activity that day and the volume of blood donated was 47,350 ml in total.
