Recently, the press conference and launching ceremony of the 1st New Media Streamer Entrepreneurship Competition for Guangxi College Students with the theme of “supporting the poor and farmers via consumption” were held in Nanning. From September to December, with the selling of agricultural and sideline products as the starting point, the competition will cover 14 prefecture level cities in Guangxi and 100 universities (campuses) in the whole region, involving education, training, e-commerce, catering and other industries.
It is said that the competition mainly focuses on the marketing and distribution of Guangxi’s new famous special agricultural products, core brands with Guangxi’s characteristics, as well as special agricultural products from poor counties, so as to contribute to the rural revitalization and improve the influence of Guangxi’s agricultural and sideline products. It is worth mentioning that this activity aims to provide an employment and entrepreneurship platform for millions of college students in the whole region by encouraging them to sell the agricultural products through live-streaming. It also serves as an entrepreneurial stage for them to found streamer teams with Guangxi’s characteristics.
