Recently, at the Nafu Colored Embroidery Handicraft Workshop in Wuming District of Nanning City, 12 embroidery girls wearing masks made the protective clothing by hand, so as to provide protection support for the front-line medical staff.
It was learned that the workshop was established by Lu Lanzhen, intangible cultural heritage inheritor of Zhuang people’s colored embroidery techniques and clothing, and her young cousin -- Lu Lanchun. At present, there were not only colored embroidery but also medical protective clothing in the workshop. From February 2 to now, Lu Lanzhen and other embroidery girls have made hundreds of protective clothing which have been sent for inspection. Lu Lanzhen said that they felt at ease to make their efforts for the front-line fight against the epidemic.
