Since 2016, Nanning’s projects on the quality improvement and reformation (from drought to paddy) of cultivated land have witnessed new progress.
It’s calculated that by the end of September 30, there are 60 projects that have been approved on the quality improvement and reformation (from drought to paddy) of cultivated land with a total area of 1901.1972 hectare, which are expected to develop paddy land with a total area of 1759.4569 hectare. The estimated investment budget for the above-mentioned projects is RMB 170.7241 million yuan, RMB 168.6324 million yuan of which has been distributed. Currently, 12 projects have been completed and finally accepted with an area of 356.368 hectare, and 8 projects have been completed but remain pending for acceptance with an area of 269.5693 hectare. 11 projects are under construction with an area of 263.3914 hectare, and 29 projects are under the process of preliminary work with an area of 1011.868 hectare. Furthermore, there are 9 projects (Shanglin: 5 projects; Binyang: 4 projects), the supplementary confirmation documents of which have been submitted for an initial review.
