Recently, Zhou Zhifu, director of the Big Data Development Bureau of Liangqing District in Nanning, led some working staff to the site of the Runjian-Wuxiang Cloud Valley Cloud Computing Data Center Project to investigate the progress of the project construction.
It is reported that the phase I of the project covers an area of 40,000 square meters (about 60 mu), with a total construction area of about 150,000 square meters and a total investment of about 1.2 billion yuan. It is planned to build two data center computer rooms, one power center building, seven informatization standardized production plants, etc., and a Class T3+ cloud computing data center with no less than 6,000 racks. The project is progressing smoothly currently, and its equipment debugging is expected to be carried out in October this year. Upon completion, this project will provide E-government cloud, financial cloud, agricultural cloud and other cloud servers as well as local and remote disaster recovery services for customers in Guangxi, southwest China and ASEAN countries.
