Recently, the core project of the new Guiyang-Nanning High-speed Railway introducing into the No. 2 EMU Depot of Nanning Hub Project (hereinafter referred to as Nanning No. 2 EMU Depot) -- the six-line inspection depot -- is successfully capped, laying a solid foundation for the EMU Depot to be put into use as scheduled.
It is learned that the six-line inspection depot is 468 meters long and 49 meters wide, with a total of 6 inspection lines inside, which is 2 more than that of the first EMU Depot. There are three layers of work platforms and other platforms inside. Compared with the existing EMU depot, its ability to inspect and repair the EMUs has been greatly improved, with an increase of 20% to 30% in efficiency. In addition, the sewage generated from overhauling can be recycled after treatment. After the inspection depot is capped, the equipment will be installed at the end of June, and the wires and ground will be completed ahead of schedule at the end of December. In addition to the inspection depot, the signal building and command center of Nanning No. 2 EMU Depot are also under construction in an orderly manner.
